The Center for Effective Government (formerly OMB Watch) says in a blog posted Friday (Oct. 18) that both workers and the economy stand to gain from OSHA's proposed standards tackling crystalline silica. In addition to safety improvements, the "proposed rule is expected to have a small but positive impact on total U.S. employment," the blog says.
