Coming on the heels of a similar arrangement with Louisiana, OSHA on Monday (Sept. 9) formed a regional alliance with the Consulate of Mexico in Philadelphia to provide safety and health training to Mexican nationals working in Pennsylvania and Delaware. OSHA and the consulate plan to provide Spanish-speaking workers with guidance and access to education and training resources about their rights and OSHA standards. The alliance members will promote safety and health by jointly participating in outreach events, including mobile consulate activities, OSHA says.
