The American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) notes the importance of having an emergency plan in place when a contingency situation, such as a hurricane, happens. ASSE is providing tips and lists of resources to help, saying there are three critical phases of crisis management: vulnerability assessment, response management, and business continuity.
