The Small Business Administration Office of Advocacy (SBA) produced an annual report, Regulatory Flexibility Act, FY 2011, to Congress and the president on implementation of the Regulatory Flexibility Act and Executive Order 13272. The agency notes its involvement in OSHA issues, including noise controls and requiring recordkeeping on musculoskeletal disorders. In fiscal 2011, SBA involvement in agency rulemakings helped secure nearly $11.7 billion in first-year cost savings and nearly $10.7 billion in recurring annual savings for small entities, the agency says.
