NIOSH provided an update on implementing the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act of 2010, which establishes a federally funded World Trade Center Health Program for adverse health effects associated with the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. The program goes into effect July 1, 2011, and is funded under the act for five years.
