The National Hearing Conservation Association released a statement reiterating its support for the change in workplace noise control enforcement announced Oct. 19 by OSHA. Some employers and industry groups have voiced concerns about the definition of "feasible" as "capable of being done," which broadens the requirement for administrative or engineering controls. NHCA says many of the concerns may be based on misunderstandings regarding the proposed change.
