The American Industrial Hygiene Association submitted comments to the Federal Railroad Administration on a notice of proposed rulemaking on the use of emergency escape breathing apparatus in locomotive cabs. AIHA called proposed pre-trip inspection and related documentation "unnecessary and overly burdensome."
