NIOSH invited public comment on a draft document, "Current Intelligence Bulletin: Occupational Exposure to Carbon Nanotubes and Nanofibers," which summarizes current scientific knowledge about the occupational safety and health implications of those nanomaterials, and recommends establishment of an occupational exposure limit and measures for controlling work-related exposures. Comments are being accepted until Feb. 18, 2011. NIOSH will also hold a public meeting on the subject on Feb. 3, 2011, in Cincinnati.
