U.S. Chemical Safety Board (CSB) Chairman Rafael Moure-Eraso lauded a vote by the International Code Council board and membership to approve an emergency amendment to the fuel gas purging requirements of the International Fuel Gas Code and the International Residential Code. The action follows a CSB investigation into the causes of last year's deadly explosion at the ConAgra Slim Jim plant in Garner, NC.
