The Obama administration's National Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI) has announced a series of meetings later this Spring to weigh health and safety issues related to the emerging technologies, according to a March 14 Federal Register notice. The program will host a two-day meeting May 19-20, entitled ‘‘2016 NNI Strategic Planning Stakeholder Workshop’’ and a second two-day meeting June 6-7 to discuss the ‘‘2016 U.S.-EU: Bridging NanoEHS Research Efforts’’ workshop. The program will also hold the first of several webinars on April 20.
