CSB Interim Recommendations After DuPont La Porte Probe

The U.S. Chemical Safety Board provided findings and draft interim recommendations from its ongoing investigation into the November 2014, fatal accident at the La Porte, TX, DuPont plant. The incident killed four workers and injured a fifth when methyl mercaptan, a toxic chemical used in the company’s insecticide and fungicide manufacturing process, was released, CSB said.
