OSHA has produced an enforcement memo explaining to compliance officers how they should enforce the newly implemented hazard communications standard as it relates to combustible dust hazards. OSHA's inclusion of combustible dust in the rulemaking caused controversy with industry as the agency has not completed a separate rulemaking specifically on that issue.
