NIOSH is proposing a new recommended exposure limit of 0.3 parts per million for 1-Bromopropane (1-BP), an organic solvent used in a variety of occupational settings that can result in a range of harmful health effects. NIOSH is taking comment on the proposal through April 29 and is also hosting a March 30 public meeting on the document.
