The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is holding up the results of a major survey, the China City Adult Tobacco Survey, released in Beijing by CDC's Chinese counterparts Tuesday (Aug. 18), as showing strong support for making public places 100 percent tobacco-free. CDC's effort to promote the issue comes as NIOSH pursues policies aimed at helping eliminate smoking in all workplaces.
