Training Firm Highlights Chemical Safety As Major Issue After China Disaster

Lion Technology Inc., a New Jersey-based regulatory compliance training firm, authored a report raising chemical safety concerns in the United States, following the Aug. 12 disaster in the Chinese port city of Tianjin, where a warehouse owned by a logistics company suffered massive explosions and fires that killed at least 100 people, injured hundreds more, and released toxic fumes into the air. The explosion has raised concerns from regulators, industry and citizens about chemical safety in the United States, the report says.
