OSHA issued new citations Thursday (July 9) to chemical company DuPont alleging three willful, one repeat and four serious violations at a chemical manufacturing plant in La Porte, TX. The agency proposed penalties of $273,000. The citations stem from an inspection under OSHA's chemical facility National Emphasis Program and follow earlier citations, which DuPont is contesting, over a November 2014 chemical release in which four workers died.
