House Republicans on the Education and the Workforce Committee are coming out strongly against President Obama's fiscal 2016 budget request for the Labor Department, with Rep. John Kline (R-MN), the committee chairman, issuing a statement criticizing the plan at a hearing where Labor Secretary Thomas Perez testified Wednesday (March 18). Obama seeks a nearly $40 million increase next fiscal year for OSHA.
