The Obama administration estimates that OSHA's budget would be cut by $46 million early next year under the automatic, government-wide sequestration triggered by the failure of the congressional “super committee” to come up with a deficit reduction plan under the Budget Control Act, the compromise reached during the showdown over raising the debt ceiling in 2011.
