The Environmental Protection Agency has issued a long-awaited rule under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) that will require producers of cadmium or cadmium compounds to provide health and safety information on the toxic metal to the agency -- though it is unclear what further risk management actions the data will help support.
