OSHA Seeks Help In Pegging 'Small Subset' Of PELs For Updates

OSHA has signaled it may hone in on a small number of chemicals as part of its reinvigorated effort to update decades-old permissible exposure limits (PELs), asking stakeholders to nominate those substances they think warrant the highest levels of priority. OSHA recently created a Web forum for interested parties to submit suggestions for PEL updates, setting up an informal version of the comment process that accompanies a rulemaking.
