EPA's pesticides office is considering adoption of an international labeling protocol, already used by OSHA and other agencies, in order to make it easier for the agency to adopt new non-animal toxicity testing methods -- an effort usually cheered by industry though in this instance, pesticide manufacturers are raising concerns about the move.
