NIOSH has invited public comment on a draft report reviewing information on the health effects of coal mine dust on workers since 1995. Comments must be received by Sept. 24 on the proposed guidance, which updates and supports the coal mine dust recommended exposure limit of 1 mg/m3 in the 1995 document.
