Sen. Tom Harkin (D-IA), chairman of the Senate labor committee, released a 59-page report raising serious concerns about the compliance rates with OSHA and other labor laws among companies that have federal contracts. The report calls for a range of measures to tighten the vetting of contractors for safety and health compliance.
