The Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board (CSB) will convene a public meeting on Jan. 15 in Richmond, CA, to consider and vote on a draft regulatory report on the August 2012 fire at the city's Chevron refinery. The board is recommending that California adopt more stringent safety regulations for petroleum refineries.
