NIOSH published a notice in the Federal Register proposing to conduct a study on the effectiveness of ordinances to prevent workplace violence in convenience stories. The study would focus on ordinances in Dallas and Houston. One goal is to develop evidence-based recommendations to provide to other cities and retail companies considering crime prevention through environmental design programs.
