NIOSH has entered the third year of its Fire Fighter Cancer Study, conducted in partnership with the National Cancer Institute and the U.S. Fire Administration, and currently is wrapping up the first phase of analyses that look at the patterns of causes of death and cancer diagnoses for a study group, according to a newsletter update on the project.
