The Maritime Advisory Committee for Occupational Safety and Health (MACOSH) is scheduled to meet May 3-4 in Washington, DC. This is the first meeting of MACOSH since OSHA renewed its charter last year. The meeting agenda includes an overview and history of MACOSH; an overview of the Federal Advisory Committee Act; a presentation on Advisory Committee ethics, a presentation from the OSHA Office of Communications; an update on the Beryllium rulemaking; and reports from the Longshoring and Shipyard workgroups.
