NIOSH is extending to Nov. 18 the comment on its draft document "Criteria for a Recommended Standard: Occupational Exposure to Diacetyl and 2,3-pentanedione." Stakeholders asked for more time to gather and submit information, according to NIOSH. The agency published the draft document in the July 25 Federal Register, announcing at the time that it would accept comments on the draft until Oct. 14.
