The U.S. Chamber of Commerce this week made its case partly through a series of scientific presentations, slides of which were obtained by Inside OSHA Online, regarding what the business group says are studies showing evidence contrary to the analyses OSHA uses to support aspects of its crystalline silica rulemaking. Jonathan Borak, clinical professor of epidemiology and public health and clinical professor of medicine at Yale School of Medicine, made the presentations at an OSHA public hearing in Washington.
