Administration Backs 'Cromnibus,' Objects To Riders

The Obama administration on Thursday gave official support to H.R. 83, the so-called "cromnibus" package, making appropriations for fiscal year 2015, which keeps OSHA funding levels steady at about $552 million. But the White House objected to the inclusion of what it called "ideological and special interest riders" in the House bill, which were unrelated to safety and health policy.
